1. レンズの開口部（絞り）の大きさを数値で示すもので、カメラに入る光量を調節する。

カメラレンズの絞りの相対的な開口径を表す数値です。この値が小さいほど絞りが大きく開き、より多くの光がレンズを通過し、センサーに到達します。写真の明るさ（露出）を制御する主要な要素の一つです。
