1. 足首の骨の一つで、脛骨と腓骨の下に位置し、踵骨の上に載る骨。

足関節を形成する重要な骨であり、足の背屈・底屈や回内・回外といった複雑な動きを可能にします。骨折や脱臼は足首の機能に大きな影響を与えます。
