1. 聖典、聖書。転じて、絶対的な権威を持つ、疑う余地のない真実や規則。

キリスト教の聖書や、他の宗教における神聖なテキストを指す言葉です。文字通りの意味だけでなく、比喩的に「疑う余地のない真実」「絶対的な権威を持つ規則や文書」といった意味合いでも使われます。
