1. 供給源や資源が枯渇する、尽きる。

何かの供給源や資源が減少し、最終的に完全に無くなる状態を指します。通常、水、資金、アイデアなどの枯渇に使われます。

The well dried up after the long drought. (その井戸は長い干ばつの後に干上がった。)
