1. 物事が疑いなく真実である状態や、何かを確信している精神状態。

物事が疑いなく真実であること、またはそのように感じている確固たる状態や感覚を表します。精神的な確信や、未来の出来事に対する確実性にも使われます。

There is no certainty in life, only change. (人生に確実なものなどなく、あるのは変化だけだ。)
