1. 交流回路において、インダクタンスやキャパシタンスによって生じる、電流の流れを妨げる作用。

交流（AC）回路において、コイル（インダクタンス）やコンデンサ（キャパシタンス）が存在することで、電流の流れが妨げられる電気的な抵抗成分を指します。熱としてエネルギーを消費する抵抗とは異なり、エネルギーを蓄えたり放出したりする形で作用します。
