1. 危険、リスク、障害物

何か悪いことや怪我をする可能性のある状況、要素、または障害物を指します。特にゴルフコースのバンカーや池などの障害物も指すことがあります。

There's a hazard sign near the cliff. (崖の近くに危険の標識があります。)

• There's: There is の短縮形。「～がある」という意味。
• a hazard sign: 危険の標識。
• near the cliff: 崖の近くに。

Don't hit the ball into the water hazard. (ウォーターハザードにボールを打ち込まないでください。)
