1. A set of typefaces and sizes.

In typography, a font is a set of typefaces (designs) and sizes of letters and other characters used for printing or displaying text on a screen. It includes all the glyphs for a particular typeface, with variations in weight (e.g., bold), width (e.g., condensed), and style (e.g., italic).

2. A source or supply.

Figuratively, 'font' can refer to a source or origin from which something is derived or supplied. For example, 'a font of wisdom' means a source of great knowledge.
The university is a font of knowledge. (その大学は知識の源泉である。)
