1. 映画やテレビ番組などの映像作品で、元の言語の音声を他の言語に翻訳された音声に置き換えること。

主に外国語の映画やドラマにおいて、登場人物のセリフを視聴者の言語に翻訳し、声優がそれに合わせて吹き替える行為を指します。
