1. 季節の変化に伴って気分が落ち込んだり、活動的でなくなったりする状態。主に冬に発症し、気分の落ち込み、過眠、食欲増進などの症状が見られる。

特定の季節、特に冬に気分が落ち込み、エネルギーが低下し、過眠や食欲の変化が見られる精神状態を指します。日光に当たる時間の減少が原因の一つと考えられています。
