1. 恐ろしさ、怖さ

予期せぬ危険や脅威、または不快な出来事に対して抱く、心の底から湧き上がる強い怖れの感情や、その性質を指します。

The fearfulness in her eyes was evident as she faced the dark, empty house. (暗く空っぽの家に向き合った時、彼女の目には明らかな恐ろしさが宿っていた。)
