1. 航空機の飛行データを記録する装置。通称「ブラックボックス」。

航空機の速度、高度、エンジンの状態、操縦翼面の動き、コックピット内の音声などを記録する装置です。事故調査の際に重要な情報源となります。一般に「ブラックボックス」と呼ばれますが、実際にはオレンジ色であることが多いです。
