1. 荷物や商品を発送する、輸送する、送る

商品や荷物が、ある場所から別の場所へ移動させられる様子を表します。特に、注文された品が顧客の元へ発送される場合によく使われる動詞「ship」の過去形または過去分詞形です。

The package was shipped yesterday. (その荷物は昨日発送されました。)

ファンが、特定のフィクションの登場人物2人組が恋愛関係にあることを強く支持したり、そうなることを望んだりする際に使われるスラング（動詞「ship」の過去形・過去分詞形）です。ファンカルチャーで広く用いられます。

Are you still shipping Ross and Rachel? (あなたはまだロスとレイチェルを応援していますか？)
