1. 傲慢な、うぬぼれた、得意げな

自分が偉い、優れていると思い込み、鼻にかけている様子を表します。自信過剰で、他人を見下すような態度をとる場合に使われます。

After winning the award, he became quite puffed up. (賞を獲った後、彼はかなりうぬぼれた態度になった。)
