1. ある分野や種類の全範囲、全域、または完全な一覧

ある特定の領域やカテゴリにおける、可能な限りの全ての要素や段階、感情などを網羅している状態を表します。特に「あらゆる範囲」というニュアンスが強いです。

The singer's voice covered the entire gamut of human emotion. (その歌手の声は、人間のあらゆる感情を表現していた。)
