1. 物体の側面、縁、または端。

箱や建物、道路などの、中央ではなく外側の部分や、境界線を示す際に使われます。

The box has six sides. (その箱には6つの側面があります。)

• The box: その箱

Look at the other side of the coin. (コインの裏側を見てください。)

• Look at: ～を見てください
• the other side: もう一方の面

2. 状況、問題、議論などの特定の側面や見方。

複雑な問題や議論において、複数の視点や意見がある場合に、それぞれの立場や側面を指すのに用いられます。
