1. 大量の土砂や泥が水と混ざり合って、斜面を急速に流れ下る現象。

豪雨や地震などによって地盤が緩んだ際、大量の水と泥、岩石などが混ざり合い、重力によって斜面を猛スピードで流れ落ちる現象を指します。土石流の一種で、その破壊力は大きく、家屋やインフラに甚大な被害をもたらすことがあります。
