1. ～の真下に、～のすぐ下に

ある物体の直下にある、または物理的にすぐ下にある位置や状態を表す際に使われます。underよりも物理的な近さや密接さを強調することがあります。

The coin rolled underneath the sofa. (コインはソファのすぐ下に転がった。)
