1. 米国の中央銀行制度である連邦準備制度（FRB）の中で、金融政策の決定を行う委員会。

連邦公開市場委員会（Federal Open Market Committee）の略称で、主に短期金利の誘導目標などを決定し、米国の金融政策の方向性を定めます。年8回開催される定例会合とその後の声明発表は、世界の金融市場に大きな影響を与えます。
