1. 事前の計画や準備なしに、その場の思いつきや衝動で行動を起こすさま。

計画や準備をすることなく、その時の思いつきや衝動で行動を起こす様子を表します。

It was a spur-of-the-moment decision to go camping. (キャンプに行くのは突発的な決定だった。)
