1. すくい取ること、または物をすくうための道具。

シャベルやスプーンなど、何かをすくい上げたり移したりするために使われる道具や、その動作自体を指します。

Use the scoop to serve the ice cream. (アイスクリームをすくうのにそのスプーンを使ってください。)
