1. 地平線または水平線

遠くを見渡したときに、空と地面または水面が接しているように見える仮想の線のこと。地理的な位置や視点によって見え方が変わります。

The sun dipped below the horizon line. (太陽が地平線の下に沈んだ。)

• dipped below: 「～の下に沈んだ」という意味です。
