1. 身分証明書または識別情報。

Identity（身分証明書や識別情報）の略称として最も一般的に使われます。個人を特定するための情報や書類（パスポート、運転免許証、学生証など）、またはコンピューターシステムなどでユーザーを識別するための情報（ログインIDなど）を指します。
