1. 無料で提供される品物、特に購入を促すための景品や特典。

"Free gift"は、本来「gift（贈り物）」には「free（無料）」の意味が含まれているため、冗長な表現ですが、英語圏では「無料の特典」や「景品」を強調する際によく使われます。特に、商品を購入するとついてくるおまけや、販促キャンペーンでのプレゼントなどを指すことが多いです。
