1. 気管から肺へと空気を運ぶ主要な通路で、さらに細かく枝分かれして肺胞につながる管。

気管から分岐し、肺の各部に空気を送り込むための主要な気道です。肺の機能にとって不可欠な部分であり、炎症を起こすと呼吸器疾患の原因となります。
