1. 要求や条約などに同意する。

相手の要求、提案、または条約などの内容に賛成し、それを受け入れることを意味します。特に、交渉の結果として合意に至る場合や、以前は抵抗があったものを受け入れる文脈で使われます。

He finally acceded to their demands. (彼はついに彼らの要求に応じた。)
