1. ループ状のパイルを持つ綿織物。主にタオルやバスローブなどに使われる、吸水性と柔らかさに優れた生地。

テリークロスは、表面にループ状の糸が立ち上がっている独特の織り方をした生地で、そのループが肌触りの良さと高い吸水性を生み出します。この特徴から、タオル、バスローブ、バスマットなど、水分を吸収する用途や肌に直接触れる製品によく使われます。別名「タオル地」としても知られています。
