1. 法令。政府機関などによって制定された一連の法律。

政府や議会などによって正式に制定された法律や法令の集合、あるいは個々の法律そのものを指す名詞です。特定の分野や目的に関連する法令全体を表現する場合によく使われます。

New legislation was passed. (新しい法律が可決された。)
