1. 議会（特に下院）の女性議員。国会議員一般の女性版。

国会の女性議員を指す言葉で、特にアメリカ合衆国など「Congress」という名称の議会を持つ国で使われます。性別を強調しない場合は「member of Congress」や「representative」が使われることもあります。
