相手の提案や考えを完全に、そして強く拒否する際に使われる表現です。一切の可能性がないことを強調し、強い否定の意思を示します。

• Are you coming to the party?: 「あなたはパーティーに来ますか？」という質問。
• Absolutely not: 「絶対に違う」「とんでもない」という強い否定。
