1. 薄暗くなった、光を落とした、輝きが失われた

何かの光量や明るさが減少し、薄暗くなる様子を表します。また、意図的に光を弱める場合や、感情や活力が減少する際にも使われます。

The lights in the room dimmed. (部屋の明かりが薄暗くなった。)
