1. 戦略的な計画や緊急事態への対応を行うための部屋。特に軍事的な作戦室や、ビジネスにおける集中会議室を指す。

軍事的な文脈では、作戦や戦略を練るための司令部を指します。転じてビジネスでは、緊急事態に対処したり、重要なプロジェクトの計画を立てたりするための集中会議室を指すことがあります。壁に情報（地図、グラフなど）が貼られ、少人数のチームで集中的に作業を行うイメージです。
