1. 細胞の核を包む二重の膜構造。

真核細胞において、遺伝物質であるDNAを含む核を細胞質から隔てる二重の生体膜を指します。核膜には多数の核膜孔があり、これを通じてタンパク質やRNAなどの物質が選択的に核と細胞質の間を移動します。
