1. 胎盤

哺乳類の妊娠期間中、子宮内に形成される器官で、胎児への栄養供給、老廃物除去、ガス交換、ホルモン産生などの役割を果たします。母体と胎児の血液が混ざることなく、物質交換が行われる場所です。
